This latest Netflix series starring Arnie was one that did certainly surprise me I feel like we're entering the era of shows that are focused on undercover agents for the CIA and other organizations with treason night agent the Recruit and now FUBAR all being released within the space of a few months Netflix's loving exploring this genre and to be honest I do not mind it focusing on a CIA agent who was said to be retiring we saw Luke Bruner being roped into one final case where emotional attachments and family got in the way of everything that he had worked for in his entire life so with that let's recap breakdown and explain all that there was to take away from this show

'FUBAR' Ending Explained

Fubar ending explained just to let you know this will contain spoilers so Arnold won't be back for any more installments of the Terminator series but we saw him make his arrival as CIA agent Luke Bruner a show which was titled after its final word that was spoken after eight hours of a run time somewhat cliche and funny but it does sum up the show as we embarked onto the ending of the final episode we saw that Luke was in a situation where he and his daughter Emma's relationship had gotten to a point where they were now trusting each other and filling in the cracks that had been formed throughout her childhood she was unaware that her father was a CIA agent and that

it was the reason as to why her parents' marriage ultimately ended up in divorce 15 years ago Luke wanted to be in control of Emma's life and we saw that even as an adult upon him finding out about her becoming a CIA agent and also kissing Alden while she was married to Carter he felt as though he needed to get involved and try to make things right for her something which she had been trying to do her whole life but by episode 8 we saw that their relationship had improved and they were trusting each other and Luke learned to let his daughter go in the sense that she could make her own decisions and have her career path in the CIA Boro was the main villain of the show and an individual who was the son of the leader of an extreme group

that was taken out by Luke 25 years ago and he was also somebody who Luke felt responsible for following his father's death however he was now rounding up an organization in the name of his father Boro had access to a nuclear weapon that he was planning on creating more of and selling to other organizations around the globe which would prove to be a threat but there was one group, in particular, a group that volk was representing something which was briefly brushed over and will most likely have some importance in the next season volk mentioned that there was a mole that was working within the CIA and with the phone call that Tina took a right at the end it's most definitely pointing towards it being her a Twist that I didn't expect but makes

the most sense due to her being the newest recruit in the entirety of the team withBoro essentially being trapped with Emma underground we saw that the both of them had to work together to get out due to the event being up high this was where we saw that Emma essentially took out all of the pent-up feelings and anger that she had about her father and put it upon Boro Emma was constantly blaming her father for how she was acting in the present day when in reality it was her actions that had caused the Heartbreak between herself and Carter so she realized that her father was only looking out for her something which was a real defining moment for the character and the true moment where she saw sense

she saw the way that Boro was feeling about her father and she realized that she felt the same and it was wrong to think that with them crawling through the vent Luke had managed to open up the top parts and pulled out Emma however he left Boro in there showing that he had finally let go of the sentimentality that he had over supporting him once he was without his father with the suitcase with the nuclear weapon being near a fire It ultimately meant that it went off with Boro still trapped inside and we were led to believe that he had died but that wasn't the case a few months later we saw that during the wedding of tally Luke's ex-wife who he was extreme really in love with and confessed his love to her on her wedding day, Boro managed to track the family down due to the ring that Emma had on her finger during

the interrogation was where an epic Face-Off happened and we saw both Emma and Blue take Boro out and ensure that he would most definitely not be returning the damaging part with that was that Emma Luke although Barry and Rue's identities were burned meaning that all extreme organizations around the globe would be looking for them to take them out or grab them so they'd be able to get information out of them so it meant that there was quite literally nowhere for the group to hide they could never return home lost all assets which most likely meant that Luke's son would lose the company that he revealed that he just sold for several millions of dollars and they would all need to set up new identities things were Fubar a word that I'd never heard of before but I saw that it was something

that was considered slang in the States so after Googling it made sense thoroughly confuse the disordered or ruined wind which things most definitely were it felt as though the shows set up a season 2 with the way that things ended we saw the value and the reason as to why Emma and Luke never told anybody that they cared about that they were in the CIA because the moment that the information was out there everything turned crazy

'FUBAR' Series Romances

the romances there were a couple of romances that we saw unfolding in the show we had Luke and Tally who was previously married but his job was what caused them to drift apart right at the end he mentioned how he wanted to be with her and that now he was retired he had the time to give her something that he always wanted he even revealed to her what he had been up to in the CIA show just how much he cared about her as he was supposed to keep it quiet it felt as though she wasn't going to accept him back into her life in a romantic way but there was a deep sense of care there with him being responsible for them having to up and leave

I don't feel like the feelings will be as strong between them in season two as she may blame him there was then the love triangle of Emma Carter who was her fiance and although the guy at work that she started getting feelings for I don't know why Carter in the demo was ever really together because they just seem like they didn't click in any way whatsoever by the final episode they'd broken up due to Emma kissing Aldo and getting feelings for him, however, she didn't pursue it after she was single this was mainly because Aldo didn't want to feel as though he was only being chosen because she was now alone he wanted to be her number one choice, not the option that she had after she wasn't with her fiance so there were no true happy love stories in the show other

then Tina and Barry which did seem like a genuine one and was quite funny to watch develop however with the very idea that she could be a mole on the inside, I have a feeling that the relationship could disintegrate very quickly

Overall review

I thought this show was pretty good for what it was I was worried that it would lean on the comedy a bit too much but it didn't it provided an engaging story that had some exciting subplots that were going on some moments were are a bit cringy and I felt some of the lines that Arnold and Fabiana were delivering towards each other felt a little forced and unnatural I like the dynamic of the entire team I thought they nailed the casting for that and Rue's humor was something that was a great addition to a show where a character like her was able to provide light-hearted moments and shine there was one thing that I wasn't a big fan of and that was the way that they would just throw several months later on screen so many times as it made the story feel a bit too pieced together and not have a consistent flow, Monica

Barbaro and Arnold most definitely stole the show they were the two standouts, in my opinion, is this the best agent show that's been released on the platform most probably not but it was engaging it had an interesting story and it was good to see Arnie back on the screen I'd welcome a season 2 but I do feel as though it could lose its charm the more that it gets created especially when shows as the night agent which just felt like it contained a better story currently exist but who knows maybe they'll make more so there you have it Fubar ending explained
